Our editorial policy explains how Smart AI researches, writes, and reviews content. We cover artificial intelligence across seven areas, including AI News, AI Health, AI Business, AI Careers, AI Guides, AI Reviews, and AI Tools. This policy applies to every article we publish.
Why We Have an Editorial Policy
Trust matters to us. So, we created this editorial policy to explain our standards clearly. It also helps readers understand how we work behind the scenes.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
We base our reporting on primary sources whenever possible. For example, we reference official product announcements, peer-reviewed research, and statements from regulators. We also test AI tools directly before reviewing them. In addition, we link to original sources so you can verify our claims yourself. We also follow best practices similar to Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines for helpful, trustworthy content.
Editorial Independence
Advertisers do not influence our content. Google AdSense serves ads on our site, but no advertiser previews or approves our articles beforehand. As a result, our opinions stay independent.
Human Review of All Content
We sometimes use AI tools to help with research or drafting. However, a team member reviews and edits every article before we publish it. We never publish unreviewed AI-generated content.
Standards for Health Content
AI Health articles cover diagnostics, medical research, and patient care. We write these articles for general education, not personal medical advice. We also cite clinical research and medical institutions wherever possible. For specific health questions, please consult a licensed healthcare provider instead.
Standards for Business and Career Content
Our AI Business and AI Careers articles reflect public data and expert commentary. This content isn’t personalized financial or career advice. Instead, it offers general analysis to help you understand broader trends.
Standards for Reviews and Guides
We test AI tools ourselves whenever possible before reviewing them. If we receive a free product or have an affiliate relationship, we disclose it in our Disclaimer. Similarly, we test every guide step by step before publishing it.
How We Handle Corrections
Mistakes happen, so we fix them quickly once we’re aware. We note significant corrections at the bottom of the article, along with the correction date. To report an error, email [email protected] with “Correction” in the subject line.
Keeping Content Updated
AI moves fast, so older articles can become outdated. Therefore, we review and update evergreen content periodically. We also mark the last-updated date on articles we revise.
